Every day, a family of quail 
Visits my yard without fail 
The parents lead their fluffy chicks 
Pecking at the ground for quick picks 

Their patterns intricate and bright 
Bring charm and joy to my sight 
I watch them scurry with glee 
Bringing life to my backyard, you see 

I'm grateful for their daily show 
Their presence makes my heart glow 
So here's to the quail, so sweet 
Adding charm to my yard, a lovely feat
