Mockingbird Perched On A Fire Hydrant
DownBurst Media
As I strolled on a lovely evening
I came across a Mockingbird
Perched on a fire hydrant
Guardian of the street
With clever comebacks and sass
He was ready to extinguish any fires
His sassy demeanor
Made me burst into laughter
Who would have thought
A small bird could be so bold
Acting like he owned the place
Protecting the hydrant with pride
It just goes to show
You never know what you'll find
On a leisurely walk
A feathered protector in disguise
So next time you're out and about
Keep an eye out for the unexpected
You might just encounter
A fire hydrant's feathered friend
