In God, My Savior, I Am Blessed
Poetry For Jesus
DownBurst Media
Though the fig tree bears no fruit,
And the vines are barren, no grapes to loot.
The olive crop fails, fields are bare,
No food to eat, no sheep to care.
No cattle in the stalls, all is bleak,
Yet in the Lord, my joy I seek.
For He is my strength, my Savior true,
With feet like a deer, I'll rise anew.
On the heights, I'll tread with grace,
In His love, I find my place.
So though trials come, I'll still sing,
In the Lord, my heart takes wing.
For His love is my guiding light,
In His presence, all is bright.
So I'll rejoice, no matter the test,
In God, my Savior, I am blessed.
The Sovereign Lord, my strength and guide,
In His love, I will abide.
So let my music rise above,
In praise of God, whose endless love.
