Arizona’s Mogollon Monster
Poetry For Jesus
DownBurst Media
Tall and hairy roams the night
Arizona's beast a curious sight
Campsites lit by firelight
Looking for a little playful fright
Crashing through the pine so tall
Leaves and twigs begin to fall
Bigfoot hears your laughter call
He’s just here for a friendly brawl
The Mogollon Monster loves to play
Spends his nights just a heartbeat away
Roaring in the moon’s soft sway
Turns our fears to joy by day
Marshmallows vanish in the hush
He sneaks them with a mighty rush
All around you feel the blush
Of knowing Bigfoot's harmless crush
Footprints big as boulders found
No sign of growl no scary sound
In mystery's magic we are bound
In every shadow he's renowned
Stories told in whispers loud
He drifts through valley like a shroud
Arizona's bigfoot makes us proud
In legend's echo he’s avowed
