Guided By The Lord’s Grace
Poetry For Jesus
DownBurst Media
In a little church by the old town square,
Sunday mornings, you could find us there,
With open hearts and a Bible's light,
Holding tight to the promise in sight.
Pastor preached 'bout John 14:6,
We'd nod along, catching every fix,
"In Him, the way and the truth and the life,"
A guiding star through our daily strife.
He's the way when we're lost in the night,
The truth shining clear, ever so bright,
The life we seek when hope feels thin,
In His embrace, we find peace within.
Mama's voice singing hymns so sweet,
Daddy's hands on the pew they'd meet,
We learned to follow, not just stand,
In His footprints in the sand.
Through the valleys, His words we cling,
Mountaintops where our hearts will sing,
Faithful steps on a rocky trail,
With Him, our spirits will never fail.
He's the way when we're lost in the night,
The truth shining clear, ever so bright,
The life we seek when hope feels thin,
In His embrace, we find peace within.
