In The Grackle’s World

As the sun dipped low, a Grackle did show
On a wall he did perch, seeds in tow
His feathers so black, shining bright
Eyes yellow, sparkling with delight

Pecking at seeds, chirping with glee
In his own world, happy as can be
A peaceful sight, a moment so sweet
Watching him eat, a joy to meet

Oblivious to all, lost in his task
Bringing a smile, an evening mask
Nature's beauty, in simple pleasure found
In the Grackle's world, peace does abound
