Saw the sunrise in the valley grey
Hope in my heart I knelt to pray
Jesus whispers thru the morning light
Peace in the still oh what a sight

Mourning doves they sang my pain away
Their gentle coo like a hymn today
Jesus holds me in his warm embrace
No more sorrow in this sacred place

With Mourning Doves you heal my mind
In fields of green where shadows pass
Your love it shines like summer grass

Waves of mercy on a summer breeze
Jesus leads me sets my soul at ease
Thru the trials and the heavy rain
Your grace flows like a sweet refrain

Mourning doves they're calling out so clear
In every note your voice I hear
