The finches sing 
With joy each day 
Their colors bright 
In peaceful play 

Perched on my wall 
They hop and chirp 
Interact with glee 
My heart they stirp 

Their presence brings 
A sense of calm 
Contentment blooms 
In their sweet psalm 

Grateful am I 
For simple joy 
The finches bring
