The far out White-crowned Sparrow, so bright 
Perched on a wall, a stunning sight 
Its chirping, vibrant and groovy 
Adds joy to the evening, truly 

Exploring its surroundings with glee 
Brings wonder and appreciation to me 
Watching it hop and play 
Brings a smile to end the day 

Nature's simple pleasures, so grand 
In my backyard, a magical land 
The White-crowned Sparrow, a delight 
In the sunset, a beautiful sight
